Free time - Alouette Lake beach OR group circle at camp under battery lanterns. Dinner, music. Optional stove & lantern demo for anyone who wants it.

FREE Corrective Exercise Session with Iman Imani — pain-free movement specialist & Asian Games medalist. Pre-hike warmup for knees, hips, ankles, lower back. All levels welcome. Bring a mat or towel.

Three Parallel Optional Guided Hikes (Easy / Moderate / Hard — see options below). All groups return by 2:30 PM.

Lunch at camp

Camping 101 (30–45 min) — equipment walk-through: tents, sleeping bags & pads, stoves, water filters, headlamps, knife/multitool, first-aid kit. Hands-on — handle every item.
4:15 – 5:00 PM
Free time, change for the beach, water bottles, snacks
5:00 – 8:00 PM
Beach Block at Alouette Lake South Beach — swim, paddle, beach games (volleyball, frisbee, kubb). Optional knots & tarp workshop beach-side.
8:00 – 9:30 PM
Group dinner — hands-on camp-stove cooking in teams (skillet dishes, foil packs, dutch-oven berry crumble on stove)
9:30 – 10:00 PM
Short Leave No Trace circle under lanterns, stargazing

Lower Gold Creek Falls Trail, 5.5 km return ~2.5 hr, Flat gravel path, ends at the waterfall
Moderate
Upper Gold Creek Falls Loop, ~11 km return ~3.5 hr, Forested, gentle climbs, river views
Hard
Evans Peak Trail, ~9.5 km return ~6 hrs, Steep, ~1,000 m gain, bring trekking poles
Each group has a designated lead + sweep with a radio or whistle. Bring trail lunch.

Corrective Exercise & Pain-Free Movement Specialist · Asian Games Medalist
Iman is leading a free 1-hour pre-hike movement session Saturday morning. Open to all levels and abilities, focused on:
• Pre-hike activation for knees, hips, ankles, and lower back
• Pain-free movement patterns to protect joints on the trail
• Simple drills you can take home and use before any outdoor activity
No equipment needed. Bring a mat or towel if you have one.
We're running an optional group food program for anyone who'd rather not plan, shop, and cook their own meals. We'll discuss in Telegram group after registration.
Bring your own food, stove or cooking setup, and mess kit. You're still welcome at the group fire-ban-friendly evening cooking demos and can join in for technique even if you're cooking your own meals.
• 2 nights at the Golden Ears group campsite
• All workshop materials and group gear (rope, tarps, lanterns, first-aid)

• Tent +footprint, sleeping bag (5°C or lower), sleeping pad
